I am at my happiest when I couldn't be more me even if I tried.

And when I hear a good song on the radio or hear thunder in a Summer storm, or feel the weight of a medal, hear applause, love someone so much it hurts, feel the curve of a hockey stick against my hand, I am happy too.



But even after all that,
I might like to be a seagull.
